Automatic watering systems for small rodents
The advantage of an automatic watering system is that you can supply an entire facility with treated water, whilst having the ability to easily flush the system on a regular basis.
Internal automatic watering
The drinking valves enter the cage bases through a Stainless Steel grommet. Rodents have easy access to the water and the leak-proof Shielded Valves are the most widely used system for mice experimental groups, breeding and stocking. It is also used for rats breeding and mesh bottom cages both for mice and rats.

External automatic watering
The drinking valves are located outside the cage, collecting any spillage in special channels and draining at ground level thus eliminating the risk of wet bedding. Recommended for adult rats and guinea pigs. Tecniplast racks with suspension runners ensure and maintain a constant alignment of the cage with the watering valve.
